In the summer of 2016 I had the good fortune to work with the creative masterminds behind ernestjournal.co.uk, a blog and bi-annual print journal about curiosity and adventure in its second year of continual success. Following the recent collaboration with them to produce The Odditorium (published October 2016 by Hodder & Stoughton), they asked me to help with print issue 5, published in August that year.
My role included page layouts (a selection of which are shown here), contacting photographers, image copyright holders and illustrators and deputising the art director before going to press. This was the first magazine I took to press and I was delighted by the reaction it yielded from the team and growing number of subscribers.
